Pass through a welcoming gate and drive along the ocean coastline of Kona Bay, bordered by a handful of beautiful estates. Lush tropical landscaping and the quiet elegance of these properties indicate that this is indeed a special place. The road inside Kona Bay Estates curves slightly to match the shoreline, and soon you reach your vacation destination known as "The Dolphin House". You are only a short walking distance from Kailua-Kona, but a world away.

The spaciousness of this 6000 sq ft estate is beautifully yet comfortably decorated throughout with no details spared. Enter through an outdoor courtyard and orchid garden with fountain. An extra large sliding glass door is opened all the way and the wall disappears. Walk through the large open living room and straight out to the lanai and pool.

The ocean is straight ahead. Another glass "wall" has been opened and there is no separation between inside and out. Soft ocean breezes and ceiling fans bring just enough coolness during the day; optional air conditioning cools the bedrooms at night.

A curved stairway takes you to the master bedroom suite with its own private lanai, and Jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean. Each of the downstairs bedrooms have king beds and their own bath. These are joined with a separate second living room. The separate ohana, with its adjacent bath, has two queen beds.

Dine al fresco, or dine inside. Cook in a truly fully equipped kitchen, or on the large outdoor propane grill. Seating is plentiful and a large family or group can relax comfortably at the outdoor table as well as inside. The "bar" has its own fridge, wine cooler and ice maker, with an entrance to the pool lanai.

Swim in heated pool complete with waterfall, or walk the shoreline to the ocean cove (perfect for children). See cruise ships moor just off shore, relax on a chaise and watch wave after mesmerizing ocean wave, and greet the soft evening in the presence of a spectacular Kona sunset. Yes, there is more: dolphins and whales often appear as they swim along the island coast!

Daily Rate

 $975 per day (low season*)
$1300 per day (high season*)

 Each Additional Person (up to 12 total):

 $50 per person, per day

 Minimum Stay:

  Seven Nights


 15-21 nights - 10% discount
22-30 nights - 15% discount

 Returning Guest Discount:

  10% discount
(no discounts for holiday periods or Ironman)

 Holiday Surcharge:

 15% increase
(no discounts apply)

 Minimum Deposit:

$2000 - Due within three days of reservation request, reservation is not confirmed until deposit is received.

 Balance Due:

  60 days prior to arrival

 Cleaning Charge:

 $450 for cleaning upon departure

 Cancellation Fee:

 $1,000 (Guests to provide owners with a written notice of cancellation 60 days prior to arrival to receive a refund of all rent deposits received 60 days prior to arrival date, less a $1,000 cancellation fee. )

High Season is June 16 thru August 30 and December 16 thru April 14
